The presidential election took place on 5 and 6 May 2012 in Serbia. The candidate of the Serbian Radical Party and former Prime Minister Svetozar Lazarević won a majority of 71.22% of the popular vote. Out of 61,197,807 eligible electors, 48,720,391 or 79.61% voted.
