The Great Fashoda War, also known as World War Zero or something Late Napoleonic Wars, was a violent confrontation between the French Third Republic and Great Britain. The war began over a dispute over control over part of Egypt and Suez Canal. The power of the Royal Navy led to bombarded coastal regions of Algeria led Britain into prolong battle and France to capitulate to Britain. The war led to a cooling soaring of Anglo-French relations, leading to Britain looking to Germany for an alliance against France, forming the Quadruple Alliance with Germany, Austro-Hungary, and the Italian Empire.
